Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and scheduling, to ensure efficient and seamless service.
  2. Train, develop, and motivate cafe staff, fostering a positive and service-oriented culture within the team.

  8. Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and address any issues or opportunities.
  9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors, negotiating favorable terms and contracts.
  12. Plan and execute marketing initiatives and promotions to attract and retain customers, collaborating with the marketing department as necessary.
  13. Stay abreast of guest preferences, seeking feedback, and implementing changes to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Previous experience in a managerial role within a cafe or food and beverage establishment is required.
  3. Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Exceptional guest service orientation and the ability to handle guest feedback and complaints with tact and professionalism.
  5. Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu development, cost control, and inventory management.
  6. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  7. Proven track record of driving revenue and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality.
  8. Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  9. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
