Training Stipend: ₦75,000 – ₦100,000/month

Full-Time Salary: ₦250,000/month starting upon program completion

About Us:

Lustrew Dynamics is pioneering AI and deep tech innovation for Africa, and we’re building Nigeria’s first dedicated quantum computing initiative from the ground up. Our mission: unlock practical, scalable quantum-powered applications that solve local problems in energy, finance, healthcare, logistics, and AI.

We’re assembling a founding cohort of 6 trailblazers to become the first members of our Quantum Division. If you're a recent graduate in science or engineering, and you're ready to learn quantum computing from scratch while getting paid, this is your chance to shape the future.

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Quantum Trainee, you’ll join a cohort of six in a structured, 3–6 month program designed to train you in quantum computing using the IBM Quantum platform and Qiskit. You’ll learn together, build together, and collaborate with AI engineers to begin imagining and developing Africa-focused quantum applications.

Upon successful completion of the program and demonstration of proficiency, you will be offered a full-time role within Lustrew Dynamics' Quantum Division, starting at ₦250,000/month.

What You’ll Do (During Training):

  • Work closely in a 6-person cohort — learning, pairing, and presenting as a team
  • Complete the IBM Quantum Developer Learning Path (certified)
  • Learn and experiment using Qiskit and real quantum hardware
  • Participate in weekly cohort reviews and collaborative learning sessions
  • Prototype quantum algorithms for problems in:
  • Optimization (energy, transportation)
  • AI acceleration
  • Fintech security and cryptography
  • Collaborate with Lustrew’s AI engineers to explore hybrid AI + quantum solutions
  • Receive a stipend of ₦75,000–₦100,000/month during the training period

What You’ll Do (After Training – Full-Time):

  • Join Lustrew Dynamics as a Quantum Research Engineer or Developer
  • Lead internal R&D projects in quantum computing for African markets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AI engineers and infrastructure teams
  • Publish research findings, write whitepapers, or lead internal demos
  • Represent the Quantum Division in conferences, meetups, and outreach events
  • Receive a starting monthly salary of ₦250,000

Who Should Apply:

We’re looking for recent graduates with degrees in any of the following fields:

  • Engineering Physics / Applied Physics
  • Physics / Theoretical Physics
  • Computer Science / Computer Engineering
  • Electrical / Electronics Engineering
  • Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
  • Mechanical Engineering (with quantum-related interest)
  • Materials Science / Nanotechnology
  • Chemistry / Quantum Chemistry
  • Cybersecurity / Information Security / Cryptography
  • Philosophy (Logic & Foundations of Mathematics)

You don’t need quantum experience — we will train you.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed) in a relevant STEM or logic-based field
  • Strong interest in quantum computing and AI integration
  • Basic Python programming skills
  • Willingness to learn intensively in a collaborative cohort environment
  • Based in Lagos or willing to relocate after training
  • Commitment to joining full-time upon successful completion

What You’ll Gain

  • Paid training with real-world skills in Qiskit and IBM Quantum tools
  • Entry into one of Africa’s most future-forward R&D programs
  • Peer support and collaboration within a tight-knit 6-person cohort
  • Direct collaboration with seasoned AI engineers
  • Full-time job offer upon completing the program and passing evaluation
  • ₦250,000/month starting salary
  • A chance to be among Nigeria’s first professional quantum developers
