Job Summary

The Product Officer will be responsible to coordinate the development and delivery of our sports betting products. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the betting industry in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap in alignment with Koretbet's business objectives and market demands.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to localize and improve the product experience for African markets.
  • Project Management
  • Work with cross-functional teams (tech, design, compliance, marketing) to deliver product features on time and within scope.
  • Maintain agile sprint cycles, manage backlogs, and ensure timely releases.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Oversee end-to-end operational workflows including payments, customer support tools, and platform uptime.
  • Optimize and document SOPs to reduce friction and improve efficiency.
  • Third-Party Integration Oversight
  • Manage relationships and integration processes with payment gateways, data providers, CRM systems, verification tools, and other key vendors.
  • User Testing & UAT Oversight
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before major releases and ensure issues are resolved before going live.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
  • Work closely with legal/compliance teams to ensure platform features align with local gambling laws and AML/KYC policies.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Use data tools to monitor platform performance, customer behavior, and key KPIs. Provide actionable insights to management.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement
  • Collaborate with CS and marketing teams to gather feedback and translate it into product and process improvements.
  • Training & Support Tools
  • Support the development and implementation of internal tools, training materials, and onboarding documents for operations and support teams.
  • Competitive Benchmarking
  • Regularly analyse competitor offerings and industry trends to maintain Koretbet's market edge.
  • Crisis & Issue Management
  • Take ownership during outages or platform issues by coordinating quick resolution plans and post-mortem reviews

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or related field

· Minimum of 7 years' experience in product management, with at least 4 years in the betting/gaming or fintech sector.

· Proven track record of Payment Processing: Paystack, Flutterwave, Interswitch, Opay etc

· Strong leadership, negotiation and team management skills.

· In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian betting industry, customer behaviour and regulatory environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM software.

Remuneration:

Competitive salary package with benefits including training, HMO and performance bonuses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦600, ₦1,000,000.00 per month
