Position Title: Email Marketing Specialist

Department/Unit: Marketing

Reports to: Lead, Digital Marketing

Hours of Work: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

PURPOSE

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and conversion

KEY DUTIES

  • Develop and manage email templates, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Plan, design, and execute and-to-end email marketing campaigns to support business objectives.
  • Set up and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, re-engagement campaigns, abandoned cart recovery, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and engagement levels to deliver personalized content.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Work closely with content writers, graphic designers, and developers to create visually appealing and high-converting emails.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE /SKILLS

  • Proven work experience as an email marketing specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing strategies, automation, and personalization techniques.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Experience with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus
  • Copywriting
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or similar.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably within a B2B or B2C environment
  • Must have completed NYSC.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
