- Drive and operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up.
- Ensure courteous and efficient service to customers.
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx service features.
- Perform related customer service functions as needed.
- Complete other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance for customer contact.
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Nice-to-haves
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- State-issued driver's license for the past 3 years with no gaps, suspensions, or interruptions.
