Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Interpret and diagnose medical images from various modalities, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs
– Perform and oversee interventional procedures under imaging guidance
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses
– Communicate effectively with patients to prepare them for procedures and explain the results of their imaging
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, reports, and patient interactions
– Stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of radiology and implement new techniques and technologies as needed
– Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
– Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
REQUIREMENTS:
– Medical degree and completion of a radiology residency program
– Active medical license and board certification in radiology
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing radiologist
– In-depth knowledge of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
– Proficient in reading and interpreting medical images
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– High level of attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
– Willingness to stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of radiology
