Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment following an established schedule.
  • Install, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment using detailed failure analysis to maintain production levels throughout the facilities.
  • Identify defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specification and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all established safety procedures and wear all required PPE.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 3 or more years of experience in a related field or technical education.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, operator's manuals, and assembly instructions.
  • Above-average mechanical aptitude and hands-on attitude.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving history.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to perform work in a non-climate-controlled metal manufacturing production environment.
  • Must be able to communicate with supervisors and fellow employees.
  • Requires (Near, Far, Depth, and Color) vision.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with noise (with 25 decibel earplugs) at 75 decibels.
