You’ll get to:<br><br><br><ul><li>Use overhead electric hoist to mount coils of round wire on bar for dipping in various cleaning solutions. </li><li>Set up straightening rolls and rolling mills to flatten round wire to predetermined thickness. Feed materials from coil through machine and onto spool. Transfer spools to finishing machines. </li><li>Set up and adjust turk's head to reduce wire to finished thickness and width. Change rolls in tuck's head as necessary. </li><li>Obtain ground rolls from Tool Room, grind edge chamfer using special equipment and diamond wheel. Rebuild turk's heads as necessary, assembling new rolls and making required adjustments following established methods. </li><li>Use trivotester to confirm type of material in all coils, maintain "Daily Sample Log" and inventory records of produced, in-process and finished items. </li><li>Maintain cleaning solutions, conducing specified tests, making additions, and recording as necessary and emptying and recharging tanks on a regular established schedule. </li><li>Use computer wand to transfer daily production data from master sheet to computer. Data includes quantity, item, machine, process, other information. </li><li>Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Detect and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, other problems or unusual situations to the supervisor. Perform all TPM duties and maintain records. </li><li>Follow all safety rules, regulations and practices and employ all safety devices and equipment. </li><li>Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Climate:<br><br></strong>Demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands and changing priorities.<br><br><strong>Who You Are:<br><br></strong>You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
