Youth Facilitator ID-1729

About the position

Our nonprofit seeks outgoing, energetic, and self-confident leaders to facilitate activities for children ages 4 to 11 during school recess, after-school programs, school breaks, and summer camp. Facilitators guide children of all backgrounds and abilities through physical, creative, and collaborative play, promoting self-confidence, resilience, problem-solving, and teamwork. It's through group play that we instill social-emotional skills and influence children's development and well-being. This part-time role is perfect for college students aspiring to work in a child-related field. If you enjoy physical play and outdoor activities and have a passion for nurturing children's potential, this position offers rewarding experiences with a significant positive impact on young lives. Please note: If you're in search of a position exceeding 25 hours per week, this is not the position for you. The position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate students, ranging from 10-22 hours per week, 2-5 days per week. School-year hours are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Programs take place primarily outdoors in Denver metro area elementary schools, and we are hiring immediately.

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?
