We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Team Leader. This role will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety at all times. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage a team, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervises shipping and receiving activities by overseeing all inbound and outbound shipments; Performs transfers finish goods, ingredients, raw materials along with various miscellaneous products and supplies. Coordinates appointment schedules and storage requirements and ensures that customer orders are processed properly.
  • Manages inventory by performing inventory audits of finish good product, ingredients, raw materials, supplies and equipment. Verify allocated quantities against actual product shipped on outbound orders. Enter information into the database system and correct any discrepancies immediately.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
  • Manage and prioritize workflow to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring shipments are handled with care and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to warehouse staff to foster professional growth and development.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED, required; bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role, preferred.
  • CDL Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient use of computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and other related applications or software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and possesses the ability to develop interdepartmental relationships.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coach a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Work requires supervising and monitoring performance for a regular group of employees or a work unit, including providing input on hiring / disciplinary and work objectives / effectiveness, and realigning work as needed.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
  • Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, darkness and/or noise. Seasonal exposures to weather elements include, but are not limited to, extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity.
  • Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks such as working around mechanical equipment, forklifts, chemical hazards, and electrical hazards.
  • Position requires the ability to stand at extended times, sitting frequently at a desk, walking around the office and plant; carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; reaching and kneeling on a daily basis. Also requires the ability to see, hear and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette.

$54,016.00 - $91,553.00
