Ticket/Gate Agent (Customer Service Agent) - MSN ID-1724

About the position

As a Ticket/Gate Agent at Delta Air Lines, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customers have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. This entry-level position involves greeting customers, assisting with ticketing and baggage check-in, and managing the boarding process. You will be responsible for ensuring that all travel documentation is accurate and that customers are guided throughout the airport. Responsibilities

  • Owning the check-in process, boarding process, and seat availability.
  • Making gate announcements and ensuring customers have the accurate travel documentation.
  • Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts, with some bags weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Operating loading bridges and managing aircraft doors.
  • Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport.
  • Working between 20 and 40 hours per week based on seniority and operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States.
