In this role, you will oversee and manage Building Information Modeling, BIM, projects for all disciplines and act as a main point of contact for BIM-related questions and concerns for the project team.<br/><br/>You will work within the project's monetary budget and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The role supports BIM coordination, model management, standards compliance, and workflow alignment for a team with strong commercial, public-sector, education, healthcare, and multifamily experience.<br/><br/><b>At a Glance</b><br/><br/><b>Location: </b>Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Greensboro, NC; Norfolk, VA<br/><br/><b>Discipline: </b>Virtual Design<br/><br/><b>Markets: </b>Commercial<br/><br/><b>Ownership: </b>100% employee-owned (ESOP)<br/><br/><b>Work Schedule: </b>Full-time in office<br/><br/><b>Sponsorship: </b>Not available<br/><br/><b>What You'll Do</b><br/><ul><li>Review the effectiveness of current standards and procedures and validate updates as needed.</li><li>Lead and attend project meetings with clients and consultants, including BIM project kickoff meetings.</li><li>Identify and lead team-specific training and education needs for standards and BIM and Virtual Design tools.</li><li>Work to standardize workflows and practices between offices and teams.</li><li>Communicate with the project manager to determine model setup configuration and understand project scope requirements.</li><li>Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between IMEG disciplines and external partners.</li><li>Provide team-specific support for Virtual Design software and programs, escalating as needed.</li><li>Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards.</li><li>Complete model maintenance using best practices and standards to support quality drawing production.</li><li>Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process.</li><li>Coordinate models and workflow between members of the design team.</li></ul><br/><br/><b>What You'll Bring</b><br/><br/><b>Education</b><br/><ul><li>Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Experience</b><br/><ul><li>4 years of experience minimum, 5 preferred, or equivalent</li><li>Revit experience required</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Required Skills/Abilities</b><br/><ul><li>Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues</li><li>Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>High level of professionalism</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Physical Requirements</b><br/><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li><li>Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times</li><li>Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds</li><li>Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms and grasp or pull</li><li>Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises</li></ul><br/><br/><b>About the Team</b><br/><ul><li>High-capacity Southeast structural team with especially strong public-sector, education, healthcare, and multifamily presence.</li><li>K-12, community college, and university projects</li><li>Healthcare, hospitals, MOBs, and behavioral health</li><li>Municipal, public safety, corrections, and airport / transit work</li><li>Multifamily, affordable housing, and mixed-use developments</li><li>Parks, museums, amphitheaters, and recreation facilities</li><li>Recent work includes Lenovo Center modifications, Red Hat Amphitheater, Raleigh Convention Center, Commercial; Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Heart and Vascular Institute and Patient Bed Tower / Wilmington, NC, Healthcare; and Wake Forest Student Union, ECU athletics facilities, Duke University softball facilities, Education.</li></ul><br/><br/>State of Virginia Salary Range: $71,000 - $98,000<br/><br/>Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
