<p>We're building a bench of senior freelance animators for a major retail brand headquartered in the Southeast. Remote, project-based, and ongoing. This isn't a one-and-done gig.</p><p><br></p><p>The client's in-house creative team is in the middle of a rebuild. New VP of Marketing, new brand communications director, and a mandate to push the work harder than it's been pushed before. The aesthetic they're chasing sits closer to sports broadcast graphics than to quiet lifestyle work: bold, fast, heavy 3D, high energy. Subtle isn't the brief.</p><p><br></p><p>They already have solid mid-level animation covered. What they need is someone at the top of the craft.</p><p><br></p><p>What you'd work on</p><ul><li>3D rendered animation for social, digital, and broadcast-style spots</li><li>2D motion graphics and design in After Effects</li><li>Product and food-forward CG: modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, comp</li><li>A mix of quick-turn social pieces and larger campaign set pieces</li></ul><p><br></p><p>What we need to see</p><ul><li>7+ years animating professionally, with a reel that's mostly your own work</li><li>Cinema 4D as your primary package. Maya, Blender, or Houdini experience is a plus, not a substitute</li><li>Real lighting and rendering chops in Redshift, Octane, or Arnold</li><li>Senior-level After Effects. 3D and 2D go hand in hand on this team, so we need both in the same person</li><li>Photoreal product or food CG in your book, or broadcast-grade graphics packages</li><li>You can take a rough brief, work without hand-holding, and come back with something better than what was asked for</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Details</p><ul><li>100% remote, US-based</li><li>W2 or 1099 contract through Nmble</li><li>Hourly.
