About the position

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Hill's BDM & Retail Marketing team to execute the Hill's retail environment and brand growth plans within investment guidelines
  • Establishes internal cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Digital, Insights/Analytics and Supply Chain to deliver superior customer engagement and accelerated growth
  • Connect the Dots - you have a pulse on the big picture and awareness of competitor activity to identify areas of opportunity for products and programs
  • Customizes specific programs & 6P strategies with Shopper Marketing that incorporate consumer insights to drive incremental sales
  • Leads change and proactively maintains a detailed understanding of the customer and the drivers of growth
  • Leverage complex data sets and analytical tools to diagnose business opportunities and challenges
  • Use multiple data sources to create fact-based selling stories, in order to influence & collaborate with key stakeholders to implement joint growth initiatives that achieve our commercial goals
  • Owns the day-to-day customer engagement at the Buyer/Vendor Manager level to influence and gain support of our go-to-market plans
  • Builds and maintains accurate volume, promotion and spend forecasts in Atlas, reflecting baseline sales and promotional plans
  • Timely management of customer payments
  • Drives forward actions in monthly discipline meetings to review actuals plus plan-to-go with manager, BDM & Finance

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or higher
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in consumer packaged goods or related industry (including combination of progressive roles of field sales, corporate sales, marketing, finance and/or customer service)
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex key accounts/headquarter accounts with multiple customer engagement levels
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel and Analytical tools

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years experience in ecommerce customer management and/or digital marketing
