About the position
The Real Estate Capital Project Delivery Senior Project Manager at McKesson is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of capital project delivery related to physical space, including renovation and construction projects. This role involves overseeing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a strong focus on team leadership and the ability to implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance project delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of project management including scope definition, budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
- Develop clear objectives, deliverables, and timelines to achieve project goals.
- Interact regularly with service lines and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement action plans to correct variances and respond to client needs.
- Implement continuous improvement and lessons learned to enhance project value.
- Align project delivery strategy with McKesson's organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely project reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in healthcare projects.
- Strong project management experience with a proven track record in construction projects (ground up, build-out, renovation, tenant improvement).
- Strong executive presence and experience in delivering executive-level presentations.
- Ability to motivate, influence, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and create supportive programs.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, or related field.
