You'll lead shift operations, support your team, and work closely with scheduling, engineering, and quality to ensure efficient and consistent production.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead and support shift personnel to meet safety, quality, and production goals.</li><li>Coordinate labor, mold changes, and shift setup to align with the production schedule.</li><li>Ensure compliance with standardized processes, quality checks, and safety policies.</li><li>Oversee the setup and operation of injection molding equipment and related systems.</li><li>Monitor shift performance and communicate any issues impacting output or cost.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized work environment using 5S and lean principles.</li><li>Identify and resolve process, equipment, or material issues in real time.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and shift-to-shift communication.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>3–5 years of supervisory experience in an injection molding environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of molding principles including pressure, heat, and material flow.</li><li>Proven leadership ability with experience in coaching, performance feedback, and team development.</li><li>Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical/process issues.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with IQMS ERP is a plus.</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate expectations, procedures, and feedback to team members.</li><li>Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment & Expectations<br><br></strong><ul><li>Substantial physical effort – extensive reaching, lifting, standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day, walking, and stepping in and out of equipment.</li><li>Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.</li><li>Authority to initiate corrective action for those who report to them who do not follow assigned processes or safety policies.</li><li>Stop the manufacturing process, if the result does not produce a quality part.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why work at MMI?<br><br></strong><ul><li>A rich Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Long and Short-Term Disability (Company Paid), a robust Wellness Program, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) Retirement Plan with matching.</li><li>Vacation and Sick Time</li><li>Up to Ten (10) paid holidays (including one diversity holiday)</li><li>Perfect Attendance and Employee Referral Bonus opportunities (up to $200 per referral)</li><li>Opportunities for growth and job training, for energetic, career-minded individual<br><br></li></ul>Join our team and play a key role in delivering operational excellence and dependable service to our customers.<br><br><strong><em>MMI Engineered Solutions is an equal opportunity employer<br><br></em></strong>All MMI Engineered Solutions employees complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
