Summary

We are seeking a passionate Gardener to join our team in the UK. This role is essential in maintaining the green spaces within our partnered Trusts, contributing to a welcoming environment for both staff and patients. Your expertise will help enhance the overall aesthetic and health of our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain gardens and landscaped areas across various NHS Trust locations
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively for gardening tasks
  • Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
  • Cultivate and grow a variety of plants and flowers
  • Conduct regular landscape maintenance to uphold aesthetic standards
  • Monitor plant health and address any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance outdoor spaces
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during gardening activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in gardening or horticulture
  • Driving Licences
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance practices
  • Strong growing experience with various plant species
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
