AUTOMOTIVE BILLING CLERK

$22 - $30 /Hour Based on Experience

Previous Accounting, AP / AR, and/or Billing Experience Required. Dealership Experience is a Plus!

is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Billing Clerk to join our busy dealership office team. This position is ideal for someone with automotive dealership office, billing, accounts payable/receivable, or accounting experience who is looking for a stable career with room for growth.

The Billing Clerk will be responsible for processing vehicle deals, verifying documentation, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer requirements.

Responsibilities - Billing Clerk:

  • Process all new and used vehicle deals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify deal jackets and ensure all required documentation is complete
  • Post vehicle sales, commissions, and related transactions into the accounting system
  • Submit and maintain manufacturer incentives and warranty information
  • Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins and obtain lien releases
  • Reconcile schedules and resolve billing discrepancies as needed
  • Assist the accounting office with additional clerical and administrative tasks
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and dealership guidelines

Qualifications - Billing Clerk:

  • Previous billing clerk, accounts payable/receivable, accounting clerk, or dealership office experience required
  • Dealership experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Good work ethic and problem-solving skills
