As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to negotiate, draft, and manage contracts. Key Responsibilities The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for the following Conduct initial intake of contract request packages, ensuring completeness and obtaining necessary approvals. Manage the routine contracts function, including reviewing and routing contract documents, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining contract files and databases. Analyze contract or grant requirements to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards. Draft, review, and edit standard contracts/provisions and ancillary documents. Obtain routine NDA and confidentiality documents and other contractor diligence documents. Highlight and address nonstandard terms and conditions with suggested alternatives. Set up and maintain electronic databases and document management systems for contract and grant records. Review, track, and maintain certificates of insurance and work with insurance brokers. Monitor contracts metrics, deliverables, and timelines. Ensure contracts and agreements are approved and executed in accordance with organizational standards. Manage regular and ad hoc reporting and tracking efforts. Plan and carry out recurring work using established procedures, consulting with management as needed. Track and maintain organizational compliance registrations, renewals, and reporting. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need 4-5 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, grant management, or paralegal field. Knowledge of contractual language, agreement types, standards, and terminology. Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting the organization's mission. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Strong organization skills and ability to manage competing needs effectively. Ability to negotiate contract elements and suggest solutions for contractual and compliance concerns. High level of computer literacy and proficiency with various software tools. Preferred Qualifications We would also like to see Knowledge of technology and intellectual property. Experience with government contracts.
