Velocity Vehicle Group is currently looking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Ceridian Dayforce HCM, a passion for HR data reporting and analytics, and the ability to drive system improvements that support our dynamic organization. This role focuses on the administration, support, and optimization of HRIS operations with a strong emphasis on data integrity, reporting, and end-user support. What You’ll Do • Administer and maintain Ceridian Dayforce HCM, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Talent Management modules. • Develop, manage, and maintain complex HR reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Dayforce Report Designer and Power BI. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, design reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights. • Manage day-to-day HRIS operations, including data entry, auditing, and troubleshooting issues. • Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation of new modules or features. • Maintain user access, security roles, and permissions; ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory standards. • Train HR staff and business users on system functionality, reporting tools, and best practices. • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and user experience. • Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and user guides for system usage and procedures. • Assist in developing and supporting integrations with third-party vendors and platforms. Preferred Qualifications • Proficiency in Dayforce Report Designer, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts). • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, and data relationships. • Familiarity with benefit eligibility rules, enrollment procedures, and HR compliance standards. • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint. • Ceridian Dayforce certification(s). • Experience supporting or managing system integrations with third-party vendors. • Knowledge of organizational development, change management, and user training principles. • Prior experience with Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HRIS platforms is a plus. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. • 3–5 years of HRIS experience, with at least 2 years of direct Ceridian Dayforce HCM experience. • Proven experience creating and managing custom reports and dashboards in HR systems. • Hands-on involvement in data conversion and interface development is a plus.
