The job involves several key responsibilities to ensure the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. A primary task is cleaning floors, including the warehouse floor, on an as-needed basis. This involves removing debris and maintaining a clean surface. Additionally, the role includes the physical task of lifting both wood and plastic pallets and placing them onto tugger machines for transport. Another aspect of the job is managing waste. This involves picking up plastic and cardboard trash and then properly disposing of it using a separate baler. When detailing the warehouse, we also focus on the exterior of the compactor, cleaning it thoroughly with a pressure washer to maintain a clean environment. At the end of each workday, a final sweeping of the floors is required to ensure all debris is cleared. Following the sweeping, a final walk-through is conducted to confirm the floor is clean and ready for the next day. It's important to note that these responsibilities are also carried out within the cooler environment, requiring attention to cleanliness and organization in that area as well.
