As a Senior Manager, Product at CFC, you’ll own the end-to-end success of assigned products post-launch, driving product-market fit and growth across adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue. This role operates with a general manager mindset, the role leads an integrated product development team and partners cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive aligned to-to-market execution and lifecycle performance. </p> <p>Our team is collaborative, creative, and passionate about our work. You’ll have an opportunity to make an impact every day and have a say in the way we use client success to transform the lives of children. </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do when you join us: </strong></p> <p><strong>Product Ownership and Business Accountability</strong> </p> <ul><li>Own the performance of assigned products or product lines, including: </li><li>Product–market fit (PMF) indicators (e.g., activation, engagement, retention) </li><li>Revenue growth and renewal performance </li><li>Client satisfaction (e.g., Net Promoter Score [NPS]) </li><li>Define and continuously refine the growth strategy at the product level, including expansion opportunities, pricing/packaging, and lifecycle optimization </li><li>Translate portfolio strategy and organizational priorities into clear product-level goals, success metrics, and operating plans </li><li>Partner with Directors to inform portfolio decisions by providing performance insights, growth opportunities, and risk signals </li></ul> <p><strong>Product–Market Fit (PMF) & Growth Optimization</strong> </p> <ul><li>Lead efforts to achieve and sustain PMF by: </li><li>Identifying target customer segments and use cases with the strongest demand signals </li><li>Ensuring product experience delivers clear, measurable value early (time to value) </li><li>Partnering with Product Marketing to refine positioning, messaging, and value proposition </li><li>Establish and monitor leading indicators of growth (e.g., activation rate, usage thresholds, meaningful engagement milestones) </li><li>Drive rapid iteration cycles based on customer feedback, usage data, and market insights </li></ul> <ul><li><strong>Team Leadership & Product Management Discipline</strong> </li></ul> <ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional product development team </li><li>Set a high bar for product management excellence, including: </li><li>Customer-centered thinking </li><li>Data-informed decision-making </li><li>Clear accountability for outcomes (not just outputs) </li><li>Evolve product management processes to support a growth-oriented, product-led organization </li></ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Leadership</strong> </p> <ul><li>Lead cross-functional execution of growth strategy for assigned products, aligning: </li><li>Product Management </li><li>Product Marketing (GTM strategy, positioning, campaigns) </li><li>Sales and Client Success (adoption, renewal, expansion signals) </li><li>Partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure strong GTM execution and market resonance </li><li>Ensure alignment between product experience and go-to-market execution at the product level </li></ul> <p><strong>Lifecycle Management (Post-Launch Through Scale)</strong> </p> <ul><li>Lead products through Product Readiness Level (PRL) and Go-to-Market Readiness Level (GRL) stages </li><li>Ensure the product delivers the capabilities, experience, and value necessary for successful scale </li><li>Identify and resolve barriers to adoption, engagement, and renewal </li><li>Optimize onboarding, implementation, and ongoing usage experiences in partnership with cross-functional teams </li><li>Surface readiness risks and gaps to Directors and functional leaders to support broader organizational readiness </li></ul> <p><strong>Operational & Financial Management</strong> </p> <ul><li>Own product-level performance and contribute to forecasting for assigned products or product lines </li><li>Partner with Directors and Finance to inform resource allocation decisions based on product performance, growth opportunities, and risk signals </li><li>Ensure disciplined prioritization and trade-offs aligned to growth and impact goals </li><li>Monitor performance and adjust strategy based on results </li></ul> <p><strong>Here’s what we’re looking for: </strong></p> <ul><li>5–8 years of product management experience, ideally in EdTech or youth-focused industries </li><li>3+ years of experience leading product teams </li><li>Demonstrated success driving product market fit and growth for digital or SaaS products </li><li>Experience owning or influencing product performance metrics (e.g., adoption, engagement, retention, revenue) </li><li>Strong cross-functional leadership skills, especially across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Research </li><li>Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in K–12 education </li><li>Travel Requirements: This role involves occasional travel to the Seattle office, typically between 1 to 4 times per year depending on the position. </li></ul> <p><strong>Note:</strong> This position is remote; employees are eligible to work remotely in any of the following states: <strong>AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA. </strong></p> <p>The hiring range for this position is $131,000-170,000 annually.
