The Director, Experience will ensure that all client deliverables and project milestones are delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by THE•TEAM and its clients. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the strategic leadership of accounts, as well as owning and nurturing key client relationships.</p><p></p><p><b>What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li>Manage a small team (1 - 4) of mid-level reports, understanding what motivates individual team members and adjusting managerial style based on each person's needs</li><li>Provide project guidance and leadership, communicating a vision and challenging the team to achieve goals</li><li>Develop and present strategic, insightful, and innovative work independent of senior management oversight and input</li><li>Serves as a champion for process and strives to maintain healthy, productive teams that follow project protocols</li><li>Manages workstream of entire account team or multiple verticals, and helps define the team structure and roles & responsibilities on a project-to-project basis</li><li>Supports in the strategic development of activation concepts that deliver on client requests, demonstrating critical thinking and creative solutions</li><li>Serves as primary client POC with a deep understanding of client motivators and work style, anticipating needs and providing information before it is requested</li><li>Capable of reviewing work and identifying gaps or omissions, providing timely and actionable feedback and ensures work is delivered on time and without issue</li><li>Consistently able to overcome challenges during a presentation and turn objections into deeper understanding with little to no senior oversight</li><li>Work in a collaborative manner with all relevant THE•TEAM department teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client’s objectives and agreed upon budget</li><li>Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets of $2M - $4M, ensuring projects are correctly budgeted for by all departments</li><li>Independently drafts agency fees, ensuring expected financial targets are met</li><li>Understand the landscape for each client’s business/sector, as well as the media context for their investments</li><li>Create a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment that aligns with THE•TEAM company culture and values</li><li>Play a leadership role during internal and external conversations, managing complex challenges and capable of crafting multiple scenarios/outcomes</li><li>Consistently seeks opportunities to optimize and improve end work product</li><li>Focuses on business development and new revenue opportunities with existing and potential clients</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What We're Looking For:</span></b></p><ul><li>Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree</li><li>7+ years relevant event agency experience (preferably in the experiential, sports or entertainment field)</li><li>Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the experiential landscape and proven ability to deliver complex projects from concept through to execution</li><li>Thrive in a fast-paced environment and always possess a ‘can-do’ attitude</li><li>Exceptional written and oral communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and highly organized</li><li>Exemplifies strong leadership, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor on the team</li><li>Showcases a level of flexibility that makes colleagues and clients feel confident and comfortable working with you</li><li>Capable of foreseeing and navigating tough issues with a solution-oriented attitude and influencing those involved toward a desired outcome</li><li>Open to learning from others and remains focused on the goal</li><li>Able to independently represent THE•TEAM among mid-senior level clients</li><li>Must be comfortable working as an integral part of a team environment</li><li>Focused and strong-minded with an ambition to help grow the company</li></ul><p></p><p>Base salary range: $90K-140K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.<br><i>Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
