We're seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Finance team, driving success with a strong and diverse skillset. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating revenue and claims reports for key stakeholders in the Finance department
  • Reviewing claims to identify denials and underpayments, and analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify under-allowed and denied claims
  • Monitoring and tracking contractual, billing, claims, and posting errors, and providing continuous feedback to the management team
  • Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to perform routine follow-up and escalate issues as required
  • Compiling and batching denied claims for expedited re-processing, and analyzing claims data to identify corrective action plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on account collection activity using Microsoft Excel
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support each other's work and contribute to overall unit success

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience, with a motivated and positive work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software, with an ability and willingness to learn new systems and programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Excellent analytical skills, including attention to detail, critical thinking, decision-making, and researching skills
  • Knowledge of billing and claims procedures and claims collection techniques (welcome but not required)
