As a Delivery Associate, you’ll be the friendly face representing our commitment to excellent customer service while navigating routes with precision and efficiency. In this role, you will coordinate the dispatching of delivery drivers, optimize routes using advanced GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology, and ensure timely deliveries that delight customers. Your proactive communication and problem-solving abilities will keep our logistics moving smoothly, making a real impact on customer satisfaction and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Must Be 21 yrs or older
  • Must pass background, drug and alcohol test
  • Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions, to complete daily delivery routes
  • Load and unload packages efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
  • Drive route to deliver packages accurately and on schedule, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of packages to ensure safe handling and delivery
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
  • Follow safety protocols and traffic laws at all times during route driving
  • Manage dispatching of delivery drivers using transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure seamless shipping & receiving processes.
  • Monitor real-time fleet movements via GPS and GIS platforms to address delays or issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers through multi-line phone systems, providing clear instructions and support during shift operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, shipping regulations, and company policies during dispatching activities.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
  • Prior experience as a courier, delivery driver, dispatcher, or in warehouse operations involving load & unload tasks
  • Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS), GPS technology, GIS, and logistics software such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret data related to freight movement, routing, and fleet performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette suited for high-volume dispatch environments.
  • Proficiency in data entry, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems efficiently.
  • Knowledge of freight operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management practices.
  • Familiarity with transportation planning concepts within supply chain management.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
