Airbnb Co-Host (Part-Time Guest Support Assistant)

Location: Remote / Los Angeles-Based Preferred

Type: Part-Time

Overview:

I'm seeking a reliable Airbnb Co-Host to assist with guest communications. This is a customer service–focused role where I remain actively involved in managing the property—you’ll simply help fill in the gaps when needed to ensure a smooth experience for our guests. I especially need weekend help, if you can't do that, please don't respond to the ad. There is a lot of downtime though, usually on certain times of the days it's busy.

Responsibilities:

– Respond to guest messages promptly and professionally using the Airbnb app

– Use a provided cheat sheet to answer frequently asked questions

– Assist with coordinating early check-ins and late check-outs when requested

– Communicate clearly and kindly with guests to help ensure a 5-star experience

– Notify me directly of any issues outside your scope so I can step in as needed

What You Don’t Need to Do:

– No cleaning or scheduling cleanings

– No handling of in-person tasks or maintenance

– No full-time availability required

Ideal Candidate:

– Friendly, responsive, and organized

– Has great written communication skills

– Available to step in on an on-call basis (specific days/times can be discussed)

– Familiarity with Airbnb and hospitality is a plus

This is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, values flexibility, and wants to be part of a smoothly run short-term rental operation without taking on full-time duties.
