Identifies community partners, providers and agencies and develops relationships to further public health efforts in the community.<br><br>Job Duties and Responsibilities:<br>This is a small clinic that will require the County Nurse Manager to also see clients for services related to children's health, family planning, immunizations, and STDs. <ul><li>MANAGES PUBLIC HEALTH CLINICAL SERVICES: Assures mandated public health services are provided. Implements new initiatives based on the needs of the population. Evaluates clinic schedule for provision of services.</li><li>MANAGES FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS: Provides input to direct staff in the development of the annual budget. Projects the needs for the upcoming year. Monitors revenue and expenditures. Adheres to administrative and financial policies and procedures.</li><li>MAINTAINS QUALITY ASSURANCE: Assures nursing protocols are updated annually. Maintains current CLIA manual and assures compliance with CLIA regulations. Assures immunization audits in schools and day cares are conducted within time frame. Maintains accurate vaccine and drug inventory.</li><li>HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT: Interviews and selects applicants according to policy. Provides and arranges orientation of staff. Conducts employee performance evaluations at prescribed intervals. With the guidance of the HR Director initiates the disciplinary process. </li><li>EMERGENCY PREPARDNESS PLANNING: Participates in preparedness planning with the District EP staff and community partners (i.e., drills, tabletop and functional exercises, annual drive-by flu clinics).  </li><li>COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Maintains established community partnerships and participates in developing new partnerships. </li></ul>Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND three (3) years of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. <br><br>OR <br><br>Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level PH Registered Nurse Spv (HCP193) OR position equivalent.<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Experience as a public health nurse.</li><li>Experience with the management of staff.</li><li>Experience with the management of budgets. </li></ul><p><strong><u>Employment Information</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.</p><p><br></p><p>CBH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>All positions require criminal history record check. Required education credentials, license, certification and/or registration must be submitted prior to employment in the position.
