Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server & Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server or Bartender, you will be responsible for taking orders, crafting beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
  • Assist with bussing tables and ensuring that the dining area is tidy and welcoming.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
  • Utilize TOAST POS system for order processing and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and effective communication regarding orders.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks based on preferences.
  • Monitor customer behavior to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations and promote responsible alcohol service.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus, as well as experience in restaurant settings.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in drink preparation and service.
