South Bay Marina boasts two prime locations on Irondequoit Bay and Seneca Lake. For over a decade, we've been a leader in providing exceptional boating experiences. We're seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our growing team.

About The Role:

As a member of our Boat Crew, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a memorable and safe time on the water. This is a dynamic role requiring multitasking skills and a positive attitude. You'll be working outdoors, enjoying a beautiful waterfront setting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage customer check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Conduct thorough safety briefings and provide clear instructions.
  • Assist with boat docking and retrieval, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of rental boats (cleaning, refueling, inspections).
  • Process customer payments accurately and professionally.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the marina.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service experience; a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
