The Sales Representative Role
We're seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through face-to-face meetings, telephone communications, marketing programs, and other activities as needed. You'll conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify, and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Your key activities will also include ensuring suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels. Additionally, you'll respond to customer requests for information and give online presentations. You'll identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to further develop the client relationship. You'll manage client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience or degree in a related field. Typically, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. You should have B2B sales experience, cold calling sales experience, and demonstrated successful performance in previous sales jobs. You'll possess skills/knowledge in developing professional expertise, applying company policies and procedures to resolve various issues. Your job complexity will involve working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors. You'll exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. You'll build productive internal/external working relationships and normally receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Your industry knowledge should include expert knowledge of the merchant payment industry. You'll act as an effective problem solver and communicate effectively to establish long-lasting customer relationships.
Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation package, which includes uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity. Our first-year professionals can expect an average of $90,000 - $105,000+ in commission-only earnings. We're committed to recognizing and rewarding our team members' hard work and dedication.
