TE’s Data and Device business unit seeks an experienced Account Manager to join our Enterprise sales team for one of our top enterprise accounts. As an Account Manager, you will work closely with another Account Manager and report directly to the Global Account Manager, driving account growth through relationship building, securing new design wins, and conducting market share analysis.

Job Location: This person must be in the San Jose Bay Area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet customers in the Bay Area locally and frequently.
  • Build and maintain critical relationships with the Customer’s Engineering teams locally in the Bay Area and Austin, as well as with extended teams in Asia.
  • Become the application expert and be able to present Customer application solution designs and future technical trends to stakeholders.
  • Drive new and custom designs in coordination with internal and external teams.
  • Support Salesforce pipeline entries, S&OP forecasting, and related revenue tools.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

What your background should look like:

  • Familiarity and experience selling to enterprise customers are strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cloud architecture (server, switch, storage, AI, related ICs, and protocols).
  • A BS degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
  • Background in interconnects, copper cables, and optics is strongly preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of industry experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $165,100 - $206,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
