Local Fastener Distributer is looking for an Order Puller in Burton, MI

Job Description:

Responsible for pulling orders with a scan gun from pick tickets, stocking and organization of warehouse including store materials, equipment and other items in warehouse to fill customer’s order.

Tasks:

  • Pulling warehouse orders from pick tickets with scan gun
  • Stocking and organizing warehouse areas
  • Ensuring that outgoing materials are properly skidded and prepared for shipment
  • Ensuring packing slips are correct and that standing orders are pulled and filled
  • Occasional forklift operation
  • Cooperate in all areas when needed for the total success of the company
  • Attach identifying tags to containers
  • Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure inventory is protected
  • Move freight, stock and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers, by hand or using trucks, and other equipment
  • Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers ➢ All other duties as assigned by supervision
