Senior Technical Writer - AWS Neuron, Annapurna Labs AWS Trainium is deployed at scale, with millions of chips in production, and has been used for training and inference of frontier models. AWS Neuron is the software stack for Trainium, enabling customers to run deep learning and generative AI workloads with optimal performance and cost efficiency. AWS Neuron is hiring a Senior Technical Writer to drive the documentation strategy and AI-based content contribution and automation initiatives for our AWS Neuron SDK, a software development kit that enables machine learning with our specialized AWS Inferentia and Trainium chips. You will combine your passion for technical writing and your strategic savvy to design mechanisms and web experiences that incorporate AI to enable Neuron customers and documentation contributors alike to deliver and use professional, consistent technical, AI-ready documentation experiences. Working at the intersection of machine learning, hardware acceleration, and developer experience, you\'ll lead efforts to streamline our documentation processes while ensuring our docs site and technical content meets the high standards that AWS customers expect. To be successful in this role, you will partner with multiple Neuron component engineering teams, PMs responsible for Neuron compiler, runtime, and NKI, as well as Solution Architects supporting customers. You will develop deep knowledge of documentation design and organization, information architecture, AI agents and LLMs, and the Neuron SDK to effectively define documentation strategy and make informed content decisions. Key job responsibilities Content Development & Delivery: Work with multiple Neuron component engineering teams to plan content for Neuron releases and drive the delivery of the materials. Develop content that is based on code and provides interactive experiences for Neuron’s developer users. Manage and report on documentation efforts and progress in an Agile environment. Documentation Strategy & Vision: Define and deliver strategy for the delivery of effective technical content sourced from engineers and other subject matter experts. Drive documentation quality standards and style guidelines. Produce documentation plans and content roadmaps. AI-Powered Documentation Tools: Use your knowledge and experience with AI agents and LLMs to design and develop tools that convert subject matter expertise into well-designed, well-organized, easy-to-use technical documentation. Process Optimization & Collaboration: Create plans to improve operational efficiency and productivity for the documentation process.
