Our client, a cutting-edge software development firm, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead their diverse software projects. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to manage projects and teams from the comfort of your home office. You will be instrumental in guiding the full software development lifecycle, from conception and planning through to deployment and post-launch support, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development projects concurrently. Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Developing detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Leading and motivating cross-functional development teams, including developers, designers, QAs, and business analysts. Implementing and refining Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to optimize development processes and team productivity. Managing project risks and issues, proactively identifying potential roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies. Facilitating regular project status meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensuring clear and consistent communication among team members and with stakeholders. Tracking project progress against milestones and reporting on key performance indicators. Managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations as required. Ensuring adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and security best practices. Mentoring junior project managers and team members.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on software development projects. Proven experience managing Agile software development teams and processes. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar. Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software architectures is highly desirable. PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a strong advantage. Ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
