Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the international expansion of Amazon Publisher Cloud (APC). The role involves developing go-to-market strategies, managing the launch lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches in new markets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive expansion plans for APC in new locales, including market assessment (broadcaster readiness, data availability, clean room competency, advertiser relationships), prioritization frameworks, and phased launch roadmaps
  • Partner with regional BD teams who own publisher deal execution; equip them with APC-specific positioning, value propositions, competitive differentiation, and technical requirements to drive successful publisher acquisition in each locale
  • Own the end-to-end locale launch lifecycle, from closed beta through open beta expansion to general availability defining and tracking exit criteria, revenue milestones, and operational readiness gates at each phase
  • Build and operationalize the demand generation mechanism for each locale including pipeline reviews, advertiser discovery with regional teams, publisher-sourced deal coordination, and DSP spender identification
  • Serve as the connective tissue across Amazon Ads teams including Product, Engineering, regional BD, DSP, Privacy & Legal, and Operations to align on locale-specific requirements, product readiness, regulatory approvals, and launch timelines
  • Work with product marketing and local GTM teams to develop localized materials e.g. pitch decks, one-pagers, and training programs for regional BD teams and publisher sales organizations

Skills

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
