Our client, a prominent construction firm, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Remote Lead Construction Project Manager to oversee diverse building projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage projects and teams from any location while ensuring successful project delivery. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of construction projects, from initial planning and feasibility studies through to execution, completion, and handover. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, risk assessment, and budget control, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, establishing project scopes, timelines, and budgets, and securing all necessary permits and approvals. You will lead and motivate project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project objectives. This role involves rigorous oversight of site operations, quality control, safety compliance, and progress monitoring, utilizing advanced project management software and communication tools. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, reporting on project status, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise. Proactive risk management, including the identification of potential delays or cost overruns and the development of mitigation strategies, is crucial. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to make critical decisions, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and drive projects to successful completion within defined constraints. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage projects remotely, fostering a productive and safe working environment through virtual collaboration and site visits as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a significant track record of managing large-scale projects. Proven experience in leading project teams and managing subcontractors effectively. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction documentation tools. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, cost control, and contract negotiation. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet demanding deadlines in a remote setting. Experience in conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to project plans.
