Our client, a globally recognized engineering consultancy firm, is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Civil Engineer to lead critical infrastructure projects. While the role is based in Lagos, Lagos, NG , we are offering a fully remote work arrangement for the right candidate, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. This senior position will involve the conceptualization, design, and management of large-scale civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water supply systems, and urban development initiatives. You will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance, overseeing project teams, and ensuring adherence to design standards, codes, and regulations. Key duties include conducting feasibility studies, developing detailed engineering designs, preparing tender documents, and supervising construction activities. The Principal Engineer will also play a vital role in client liaison, stakeholder engagement, and business development, identifying new project opportunities and contributing to the firm's strategic growth. This role demands extensive experience in civil engineering design software, project management methodologies, and a deep understanding of geotechnical, structural, and transportation engineering principles.
