Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Lead Project Manager to manage high-priority software development projects within a completely remote setting. This role is central to guiding agile teams through the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of innovative products. You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business strategy. This includes creating detailed project plans, managing timelines, allocating resources, and overseeing budget adherence. You will work closely with product owners, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. A key part of your role will involve identifying and mitigating project risks, implementing effective change management processes, and driving continuous improvement within the team's workflows. You must be proficient in various project management methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and be able to adapt them to suit project needs. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with at least 4 years specifically in software development. Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMP-ACP) are highly desirable. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing remote teams effectively. Proven ability to motivate and guide development teams, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions under pressure is essential. Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies is required.
