Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Site Manager to join our team and take charge of daily operations at our Owerri project site.
  • This role requires a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all site construction activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with project designs, specifications, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
  • Lead and manage site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project targets.
  • Prepare and monitor work schedules, site reports, and progress documentation.
  • Manage the delivery, storage, and use of materials and equipment on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and quality standards are met.
  • Resolve technical challenges and operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients for smooth project execution.
  • Enforce and promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc / HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in construction site management or supervision.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and building regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management software is an added advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
