<p>AAKC is looking for an incredible CRNA to join our team of anesthesiologist professionals. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's) are responsible for administering and monitoring anesthesia in a care team model directed or supervised by a physician anesthesiologist. CRNAs care for patients at all acuity levels in a variety of settings for procedures including but not limited to surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic and pain management.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><p><em>Include all but are not limited to the following.</em></p><ul><li>Review the pre-anesthetic evaluation and confirm the physical status assigned to the patient. Consult with the responsible anesthesiologist should questions arise regarding the patient’s status.</li><li>Review the anesthetic plan assigned the patient. Consult with the responsible anesthesiologist about changes in the anesthetic plan.</li><li>Personally perform and manage general and monitored anesthesia care in collaboration with the anesthesiologist directing or supervising the anesthesia care.</li><li>Remain vigilant while monitoring the patient’s physiological vital signs.</li><li>Manage patients' airway and pulmonary status using techniques such as endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, respiratory therapy, and extubOverlation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Master's or doctorate in nurse anesthesia</li><li>Must be a graduate of an approved program of nurse anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Program.</li><li>Be board eligible or certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and recertified every four years.</li><li>ACLS certification required; PALS may be required for some facilities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>If you have any questions regarding the compensation package, please reach out to Nicole Lane at nlane@aakc.com</strong></p>
